Palatine Success
CA United enjoyed their most successful club tournament over the Labor Day Weekend.  Six teams made the finals with four of them coming away champions.  The overall record for the club was 30-15-14. 


The U18G made the finals with a 3-0-0 record before falling 2-1 to NSA Premier.  Jenny Stewart of Mason scored the goal in the finals for the U18G.  Their coach is Bill Pettit and assistant coach Dan Zolkowski.


The U14G won the Silver Division with a 4-0-0 record.  Their coach is Jeremy Knous and assistant coach Nate Stovall.

Congratulations to the CA United 94 Girls team who competed in two divisions.  They finished with a 4-1-2 record and won the Silver Division.  Members of the team:

Bailey Baker, Paige Bialke, Elle Bos, Caitlyn Chick, Abby Cook, Amanda Dimmer, Syd Dippel, Lexi Embs, Quinn Hanses, Kaysee Ishman, Ella Kraft, Jenna Krause, Emily Krueger, Ally Milam, Emily Murdoch, Madelyn Panganis, Samantha Parkinson, Emily Reinecke, Sierra Sisco, Shannon Staton, Sarah Stewart, Morgan Titus, Lindsey Tuggle, Allison VanDerWoude, Gina Vilona.  Their coach is Shawn Burke and assistant coaches Brian Fuller and Josh Hovey.


The U15G won their division even though goalkeeper Sarah Klein suffered a separated shoulder.  Center midfielder Olivia Droste replaced Sarah and only allowed one goal in the team's final three matches.  CA United defeated the Chicago Fire 3-1 in the semi-finals.  They met league foe Livonia Meteors in the final and defeated them 2-0.  Team members include: Erin Lucian and Kacie Maurer of DeWitt, Brianna Kovan and Kelsey Mullenof Okemos, Sarah Klein of Waverly, Liz Baker, Shelby Deimling, Torey Deimling and Taylor Parker of Haslett, Katie Joblonski of East Lansing, Bridget Bienz, Dani Crandall and Sienna McCone of Eaton Rapids, Olivia Droste of St. Johns, Jaimi Crawly of Jackson and Sam Grzeskowiak of Brighton.  Their coach is Dan Jury.


The U12G played in the 11v11 format even though they play 8v8 in their league.  The two teams, Ghana and Australia, met in the finals.  Though Australia came out on top, all of the girls, on both teams, should feel extremely proud of the success they are enjoying.  Their coach is Gus Flores and assistant coaches Vern Myers and Paul Barnes.
