CA United U13 Boys Win Capital Area Classic

The CA United U13 boys soccer team won the 2004 Capital Area Classic, which was held September 18th and 19th in Lansing, MI. The undefeated CA United team won the championship by beating the Livonia Meteors 3-1 in the final. Earlier this season, the U13 boys also were finalists in both the Midland Fusion Invitational Tournament and the Palatine Celtic Cup. In both these tournaments, the CA United team was undefeated in all flight and semi-final games.

Team members are: John Keverne and Zach Ruswick (Charlotte); Joel Feldpausch (DeWitt); Ben Gates, Alex Hernandez and Collin Mohr (Holt); Billyle Alman (Lansing); Kyle Briggs, Derek Doerner, Matt Gallagher, Bartosz Gawarecki, Greg Kohler and Saul Richmond-Rakerd (Okemos); Alex Newman (Portland); Zach Dimmer and Nick Garza (Williamston). The team is coached by Nicu Milotin.
